Stirling Scale was founded by people who have spent years in the scale model trade as collectors, retailers and distributors.
Introduction
With long experience in the scale model industry as both enthusiasts and professional retailers, we know what makes a model car truly exceptional. Our aim is to offer the highest-quality scale models in their price range, so every collector feels the care and precision in each piece.
Highlights
Stirling Scale models have opening doors and bonnets, working wheels and suspension, and textured felted carpet interiors. Raised decals and badges add to the authenticity of each model.

Our models are made in specialist facilities staffed by experienced model makers. Every model is checked at several stages of production.

Our founder’s background in scale model retail and distribution, and a large personal collection, set the standard. Only models that have been scrutinised and refined from prototype to final product go into production.
Eight stages from car to model
Choosing the car
Market research confirms collectors want the car, and that demand will meet our minimum order quantity.
Scanning an original
Our team travels to an original car with 3D scanning equipment to capture every dimension and proportion.
CAD development
The scan data becomes a CAD model for the tooling, reviewed several times over about 30 days.
Steel tooling
Separate steel tools are cut for each part to withstand die-casting at up to 450°C. This takes 1.5 to 2 months.
Plastic and metal parts
Interiors, engine detail, wheels and suspension are injection moulded, with metal springs for the suspension.
Deco sample
The first painted prototype is checked against the design, and tooling is adjusted where needed.
Production
After the deco sample is approved, about 45 days to make, assemble, check and pack around 3,000 models.
Shipping
Finished models go by sea to our retail partner, Model Universe, who fulfil pre-orders and stock.
